Sustainable Rosengård is the collective name for an extensive program aiming to transform Rosengård into a more socially, economically and environmentally sustainable district.
Physical changes together with dialogue with the inhabitants will create new areas for socialization and activities, new job opportunities and employment and a better infrastructure connecting Rosengård with other parts of Malmö.
The transformation process was initiated by individuals in a shared equity housing in Rosengård, who had an idea on which the whole transformation of Roengård is built - climate adaption and sustainable lifestyle.
Innovative environmental engineering is being used, in line with Malmö's high demands on environmental sustainability in new construction.
