STUDEUM will be situated in a corner of the planned square in the Bo01 area. The sea opens up to the left and the towering Turning Torso stands behind the accommodation.
The basic plan is to build 5-metre cubic blocks, which will create apartments that have one and a half floors - 25 sq metres on the lower floor and a neat 12.2 sq metre alcove above.
A penthouse on the lower floor for work, meals and friends. An alcove up above for sleep and contemplation. A cylindrical shaped heart will pass right through the cube. The lower floor has a kitchenette, a wardrobe and an IT cupboard. The upper floor has a toilet and shower.
STUDEUM has aroused considerable attention and has been reviewed at ministry level. Its construction method could prove to be an economical means of building and designing youth and student accommodation. And with an aesthetical appeal for the young people living there.
