The waterfront promenade "Sundspromenaden" brings you closer to the sea and lets you experience the sunset in a new way in Malmö. This only used to be possible from the beach and park. An urban space is now being created with out-door cafés, people taking a stroll, inliners and onlookers. This will be a busy and popular sea-front walkway made of wooden decking with steps along the revetment where people can sit and rest.
The harbour is in the southern-most part of the district. Houseboats and visiting yachts and motor-launches can be moored to the jetties and quays.Furthest in, the Bo01 canal cascades into the harbour via a two-metre high waterfall. Visitors can walk onto a platform behind the curtain of water to get a very special view of the waterfall. Anyone not wishing to get wet can take a seat on the steps alongside the harbour.
