Getting here
Malmö Art Museum is located in the city centre of Malmö in south Sweden, close to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
On foot
From the Central station, Stortorget or Gustav Adolfs torg: approximately 15 minute walk through the district "Gamla väster" (Old West) and Slottsparken.
Public transport
Bus no. 3 or 32 tobus stop "Tekniska museet" and then 5 minutes walk to the castle islet Malmöhus. For bus schedules and more information contact Skånetrafiken.
By car
There is a large car park opposite the museum.
From Copenhagen
Train from central Copenhagen leaves every 20 minutes. It takes about 35 minutes to the Central station in Malmö and from the trainstation it´s a 15 minute walk to the museum.

September to May; Mon - Fri 10-16 ; Weekends 12-16
June to August; Daily 10-16 .
New opening hours. Starting from 1 June 2012, the museum is open every day at 10-17
The museums are closed
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year´s Eve, New Year´s Day, 1st of May, Midsummer Eve, Midsummer Day.

Adults: 40 SEK
Children age 0-19: Free (o SEK)
Students (with valid student ID): 20 SEK
Group discount (minimum 10 people): 50%.

Malmö Art Museum's premises are accessible to all with different disabilities.
Toilets for the disabled you find at the entrance floor.
Wheelchairs are available on request.
Lifts/elevators provide access to all levels except one part of the main stairs.
